Mr. Bender's area of practice includes primarily preparing and prosecuting patent applications. His area of patent experience includes transfer cases, exhaust gas return valves, storage compartments for the interior of automobiles, fluid pumps, as well as patents dealing with noise, vibration, and harshness technology.
Prior to joining Warn Partners P.C., Mr. Bender worked as an engineer for Raybestos Products Company for almost five years, specializing in wet friction applications such as wet clutches for automatic transmissions, limited slip differentials, and transfer cases. He has participated and led various design teams in the development of new products for wet friction applications. He was also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, and the American Society for Mechanical Engineers.
He received a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University in 1999, and his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2006.
